Diamond D integrates innovative approaches, specialized equipment, and sound planning to build projects that protect and enhance the environment, such as in sensitive stream zone and wetland habitats. We have constructed wetlands for the Red-Legged Frog, created fish habitats, eradicated non-native invasive plants, and restored native vegetation to disturbed areas.
Our fleet includes a full line of low-ground-pressure equipment that is specifically suited for highly sensitive environments. Diamond D uses equipment that minimizes impacts to sensitive habitats including low-ground-pressure excavators, long-reach excavators, silt-fencing machines, rubber-tracked skid steers, turbidity monitoring equipment, and many others.
Prior to construction Diamond D's staff will work with owners and resource agencies to develop sequencing plans and storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs) to reduce impacts to the environment. Innovative approaches, specialized equipment, and proper planning make Diamond D an environmentally friendly contractor.
