Diamond D has performed many ecological restoration projects, both standalone and as elements of larger earthwork projects. We have constructed wetlands for the Red-Legged Frog, placed woody debris to create fish habitat, eradicated non-native invasive plants and restored native vegetation to disturbed areas. We integrate innovative approaches, specialized equipment and sound planning to build projects that protect and enhance the environment, such as in sensitive stream zone and wetland habitats.
Diamond D has also established relationships locally with native plant nurseries such as Hedgerow Farms and Cornflower Farms. We combine their extensive knowledge, including native plant species seeding rates and techniques, nutrient management, herbicide application and follow-up management, with our own expertise in site preparation, earthmoving, erosion control and environmentally friendly equipment operation to offer a complete, highly skilled team for our clients' restoration needs.
